Lat Hang
This exercise loosens the muscles that run down the sides of your back, allowing you to better lift overhead, avoiding upper-body problems.
Hang from a pullup bar with your feet on a bench so your knees and hips are each bent about 90 degrees. Flex your hamstrings and glutes so that your pelvis is slightly tilted up. Maintain that position throughout. Take a big breath in, then blow all the air out, as if it’s toxic. You should feel a stretch in the muscles under your armpits. Take 10 big breaths while hanging.
